How are you?
lately, we've been learning about Tamoko. I've made a poster about what I've learnt on canva. Do you know what Tamoko is already? Its a Maori culture tattoo most Maori culture people get.
Here is my poster made on canva

At the moment we're learning about Te Triti o Waitangi, this event does have a public holiday which is Waitangi day. We had to figure out the route that the Tory took from England to New Zealand. On my poster, I have an image of the route they took and what the ship they took looks like. I made my wonderful poster on canva so here it is :D

On a Wednesday afternoon, we are learning how to keep our self's safe. Our first activity was making a poster on how to act when a robber comes and bangs on your door and what to do in that situation. I made a poster that shows you what to do. I have what to do and then the conquests underneath. Here is my canva

Remember how last year I made the self portarit of myself? Well, this year it's a self-portrait of me but in a lego character! I'm not good at art so it's not the best but I think it still came out really well. I made one obvious mistake while coloring my lego character, I colored in the shoes thinking they were my tights, I'm quite disappointed about that but it's fine cause I can just have tights that go over your feet and have no shoes on :D, Here is my lego character.

I just got back from Wainui school camp!
I had so much done all the activities with my friends, I was In a bunk room with Zoe. C, Zoe. R, Pandora, Olivia. F and Catherine. One of my favorite activities was Orentierrting cause I love exploring and finding things. I have a whole story about that so here it is!
My favorite memory of camp was Orentiring cause I love to walk around
and explore. I was in a group with Catherine, Lyla and Emmelia. While we
were going to look for 6 we were so tired and wanted to give up, Mr G
told us a clue to get to number 6, 10 minutes later we found it, by then
someone had already found all of them. 5 minutes later activity time
was over and I hadn't found 11, 7 and 3 so I asked Mr G if I could use
my free time to go and find them. He said yes I was so happy! Then,
Catherine, Lyla and Emmelia gave up and didn't want to do it anymore.
So I went around and found 11 and 3 before afternoon tea. For afternoon
tea I had a lovely brownie and shortbread cookie. Then I went off to
find 7 but we didn’t find it before going to the beach to have a swim so
I was a little disappointed about that but the beach was a lot of fun.
When we got back we had to have dinner so I ate that quick and after
that Caleb {another one of my friends} took me to the area number 7 was
in and I searched around for it and then I found it! And I was so happy
when I found number 7 I walked all the way to Mr G and said I was done
and I felt very happy that I completed it all!
Is there anything I could change about this or add next time? If you have any questions just comment them so I can answer :D

Uhh, it's term 1 which means we are making our Pepeha's again!
First, we had to make a basic pepeha on a website and then change all the lines to what fits us. When I was done, we were allowed to make it on adobe spark and then add photos and music. I don't like to put my voice in things so it was hard for me to do especially with all the noise in the background. Overall I loved making my pepeha because I think the Maori language is really cool. Here is my Adobe spark pepeha!.
