Pūkāea ( Maori Insturment )

In inquiry, while everyone else is at production practice we have either been learning the drums or ukulele. I'm learning the drums. When we weren't with Mr. G we had an option of a few tasks, I chose to research a Maori instrument and put it on a poster. There's not much information on my poster because there wasn't much room. The drums are just mitre 10 buckets because they were kind enough to donate us a lot of buckets for our learning.

Egg Sience

On Wednesday we did an experiment, I was in a group with Sophia D, Valley, Olivia F, and Tayla k. 
with eggs, I made a reflection so here it is :D, My groups technique was to make as much padding around the egg as posible!

Minecraft Problem

Lately, in maths, we have been learning problem-solving. We got set a task to make the problem in minecraft so I did. I picked the pirate problem because I thought it was fun to build a ship. when we were done building we had to take photos of our creationon. On and island  I put three treasure chests and two people. Here are some off my photos from my minecrfaft creation.

Weather in Maori

On Fridays, we have been learning about how to say the weather in Maori. I learnt how to say what's the weather in Maori it's Kei te pehea Te Ahua O te Rangi and one way to respond is Kei Te Wera / Its Hot. I made a scratch on how to say different things in Maori and ways to respond if someone asks you what the weather is in Maori

lately, we've been learning about Tamoko. I've made a poster about what I've learnt on canva. Do you know what Tamoko is already? Its a Maori culture tattoo most Maori culture people get.

Te Tiriti o Waitangi

How are you?

At the moment we're learning about Te Triti o Waitangi, this event does have a public holiday which is Waitangi day. We had to figure out the route that the Tory took from England to New Zealand. On my poster, I have an image of the route they took and what the ship they took looks like. I made my wonderful poster on canva so here it is :D

K.O.S/ Keeping Our Self's Safe

On a Wednesday afternoon, we are learning how to keep our self's safe. Our first activity was making a poster on how to act when a robber comes and bangs on your door and what to do in that situation. I made a poster that shows you what to do.
